LONDON: According to junior British finance minister Victoria Atkins, at least 10 British citizens have died in the battle between Israel and Hamas, and six more are still missing.
Atkins stated the government’s worry that these six Britons would be held as hostages in a separate interview.
They are our top priority, she said to a news outlet.
On Monday, Hamas claimed to have freed two Israeli women who were among the more than 200 prisoners it had abducted in the southern Israel attack on October 7.
