DI Khan : A three-day workshop on “Modern Teaching Strategies” in collaboration between Gomal University and Higher Education Commission Islamabad concluded.Gomal University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Shakib Ullah was the chief guest of the closing ceremony.The organizer of the workshop was Dr. Barkat Ali, Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy.The workshop was highlighted by renowned international guest speaker Prof. Dr. Wasif Gilani Gulf Medical University online, while the national guest speaker Dr. Muhammad Waqas, University of Veterinary Sciences Lahore, Dr. Abid Hussain University of Poonch Rawalkot, Azad Kashmir, Dr. Adnan Jameel, Islamia University Bahawalpur also gave a presentation on the teaching process keeping in mind the modern requirements of the present time in the light of their experiences explained in detail.Addressing the workshop, Vice Chancellor Gomal University Professor Dr. Shakib Ullah said, on the one hand, teachers get a chance to learn a lot by conducting such workshops and on the other hand the quality of education in the institution is further improved because when we joined the university as teachers. At that time, our senior teachers used to teach us how to give lectures in the morning and then they used to come and check in the classes and these things lead to improvement in the quality of education. He further said that I am happy that wherever I go, the name of the Faculty of Pharmacy and its teachers is mentioned with respect. Which is a source of pride for Gomal University, at the end of the ceremony, Gomal University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Shakib Ullah distributed shields and certificates to the guest speakers and others.
