Generation Medemer” book unveiled authored by Ethiopian PM launched in Pakistan

Islamabad ;  The book, entitled “Generation Medemer” authored by H.E Dr. Abiy Ahmed Prime Minister of FDR Ethiopia that embodies an idea, philosophy and a framework for nation-building through synergy and alignment of all resources launched the Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Ambassador of Ethiopia H. E Jemal Beker Abdula, In this regard, a colorful reception was hosted here for the Government of Pakistan’s officials, media, civil society, diplomatic corps, and Ethiopian Diaspora.

Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan Malki graced the occasion as a chief guest, Waseem Ajmal Chaudhry, Federal Secretary for Federal Education Ministry also graced the occasion here alongside other important guests including Ambassadors and  Former President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Zafar Bakhtawari and others also attended the ceremony.Ethiopian Ambassador to Pakistan Jemal Beker Abdula accorded a warm welcome to all the guests upon their arrival at the celebration ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, he said. Ambassador Jemal Beker Abdula semphasized the book delves deep into the life of the brave Abiy Ahmed Ali, Prime Minister of Ethiopia, exploring his early years, his journey to becoming a key figure in Ethiopian and African diplomacy. The importance of documenting and understanding Ethiopia’s history to inform the present and guide the future, Democratic economic system,Extraordinary cultural and values of Ethiopia. who is a Nobel Prize Winner, champion of green legacy and an advocate for regional integration and pan-Africanism. Ambassador said H.E. Dr Abiy Ahmed has successfully led a change in the second most populous nation of Africa with effective implementation of his Medemer vision that advocated “interdependence and togetherness—a way of life that emphasizes collaboration, cooperation and unity.”Ambassador said a captivating insight into Ethiopian history and its deep-rooted connections with Pakistan. All Ethiopians reaffirmed their unwavering faith in the core values that defined Ethiopia including love, forgiveness, unity, and harmony. The ambassador said Ethiopia had a unique place in human history as the land of origin, with the discovery of Lucy—the human fossil believed to be one of our earliest ancestors. Ambassador Beker said Ethiopia had a visionary leader and a prolific writer who had authored three books that spelt out a holistic recipe to build a better and stronger generation that hands down the perfect legacy to the next generations that through further fine-tuning keeps up on this inter-generational connectivity which will ultimately give birth to an ideal and resilient nations. “Moreover, Ethiopia is renowned as the source of the Nile, the longest river in the world. Our nation also takes pride in producing some of the world’s most exceptional athletes, and I am excited to announce plans to foster knowledge exchange between our athletes and our dear brotherly country in the realm of sports,” the ambassador stressed.Zafar Bakhtawari  emphasized the close relationship between the two nations in trade, investment, tourism, and technology transfer. At the end of the ceremony Chief guests and honor able dignitaries take a group photo with the launched book of Prime Minister of Ethiopia.
