Polio eradication is a national duty’ Commissioner Dera.

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A meeting of the Divisional Task Force for Anti-Polio was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan Division Zafarul Islam.

In which Regional Police Officer Dera Range Nasir Mehmood Satti, Deputy Commissioners of various districts, District Health Officers including, Police, EPI, Local Government officials, N-Stop Officers, WHO and other relevant departments participated. Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan Division Zafarul Islam presided over the meeting online, during which the Commissioner was given a briefing regarding the anti-polio measures and the security situation.

On which the commissioner issued instructions and said that anti-polio is a national duty, therefore, all the concerned departments should perform their duties diligently while negligence or negligence will not be tolerated in any case.

He directed the police department to ensure the security of the anti-polio teams in every way, so that they don’t face any problem in paying their duties.

He further directed that during every anti-polio campaign, not only goals should be achieved, rather, maximum refusal coverage should be attempted, so that no child is deprived of anti-polio drops and suffers lifelong disability.

He also appealed to all the parents to give anti-polio drops to all their children up to five years of age during every anti-polio campaign, to not only save your children from being crippled for life.

Rather, the dream of complete eradication of deadly virus like polio from Pakistan could be realized shamefully and we can succeed in giving a polio-free Pakistan to our future generations.
